The "Series 10" was Selmer's answer to the Buffet Crampon R13 featuring a more narrow bore and undercut tone holes. In comparison to the Series 9 it is more suitable to Classical music. It has a great round sound and homogeneity throughout the registers and excellent intonation. This instrument has been fully overhauled with new double bladder pads. The serial number is W3308 dating it to 1970. The bell had a crack which has been professionally repaired with carbon fiber banding giving a very strong, durable repair.
